Beaufort County Council, the North of the Broad Fire Chiefs, and representatives from the City of Beaufort and Town of Port Royal will hold a Fire District Consolidation Workshop on Thursday, October 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in County Council Chambers at 100 Ribaut Road, Beaufort (map).

The workshop will provide an opportunity for County Council and the North of the Broad Fire Chiefs to engage in a collaborative discussion regarding the potential impacts and considerations associated with fire district consolidation.

The workshop is open to the public and will be televised via BCTV.
